Tal Barahi temple is located on an island in the middle of the Phewa Lake and can be reached by boat from the Barahi Ghat. Bindabasini temple is one of the oldest structure in Pokhara was built in the 16th century by Newari traders and is dedicated to Goddess Durga. It also has a Shiva temple and a Buddhist monastery at the base.
